Why did God not forgive people for sinning and let them out of heaven?

Sometimes I have heard people asking about the story of Adam and Eve and why God sent them out of heaven instead of forgiving them for their sin. I just wanted to briefly talk about this in this article.
Adam and Eve are said to have eaten an apple that they were forbidden to eat from a tree in heaven. By doing this, they disobeyed God and also broke the fast that God told them to do. Someone may ask why God just told them to leave heaven and he did not forgive them for what they did, if he is a God who loves us. There is actually a simple answer to that. The reason why they were not forgiven was actually the fact that they did not repent.
Adam and Eve, based on the story, tried to justify themselves for their action. Adam said that the woman that God gave to him (Eve) was the one who gave him to eat the apple and that this was the reason why he ate it. So basically he meant something like “It is your fault that I ate this apple because you gave me this woman. If you had not given me this woman, I would not have eaten this apple”.
Eve also said that the snake tricked her and this is why she ate the apple. Thus, she was not taking responsibility for her action and she was accusing the snake about the fact that she ate the apple. Nevertheless, there is no true repentance when someone does not sincerely apologise and also, does not take responsibility for one’s actions.
The fact that there was no true repentance was the reason why God did not forgive Adam and Eve and told them to leave heaven. God would have forgiven Adam and Eve is they had sincerely apologised and taken responsibility for their actions; He did not forgive them because they did not actually ask for forgiveness.
It is also taught in orthodox Christianity that God does not judge us for our sins, but for the fact that we do not repent from our sins. He does not judge you for the fact that you made mistakes by itself. He just wants you to recognise them, take responsibility and try to avoid them in the future. This is why we do not have the close relationship with God that Adam and Eve initially had. Thus, we see that God is willing to forgive. We simply need to truly repent.
All in all, we see that God is a forgiving. He can forgive us from anything and we can have a close relationship with Him. We just have to sincerely ask for forgiveness and try to have a closer relationship with our loving father.
