Prayer

Some tips about prayer (Father Iōannis Sinaïtis, 2011):

-Through prayer we reach union with God.

-We should start our prayer with thanking God. Then, we should confess our sins and finally we should ask God everything that we wanted to ask in our prayer.

-You don't need to think complicating words to say in your prayer. Simple things have often pleased God.

-We should approach God with humility when we pray.

-We should ask God's will to be fulfilled and not our will.

-When we have obedience, it is easier for us to concentrate during prayer.

-The devil is trying to distract us to pray or during prayer and we have to fight this.
