The difference between pride and ego

Someone with ego has his own will and stubbornness. This may not be observed in pride.

Imagine waiting to worship icons in the church and someone worships before you, while he was actually after you in the queue. If you have ego, you may get angry, leave the queue and not worship at all. If you have pride, this will still bother you, but you won’t react like this. You may even say, supposedly politely, to other people after you to pass before you too.
