How to understand if you are humble

Humble people (Orthodox christianity - Orthodox faith, 2022):

-Imitate Jesus. They do not slip, judge or boast.

-Are not interested in having authorities and getting glory from this world.

-Don’t speak out boldly and accept advice from others.

-Have a simple and humble external appearance.

-Are happy to receive humiliations or to be looked down on because they know that this brings humility. Being sad for these things is actually a sign of vanity.

-Try to live in obscurity. It is actually not in our best interest to be known by the world because the world is full of sin and misguides people and leads them to bad paths.

An important note about humility (Orthodox christianity - Orthodox faith, 2022):

-Humility, obedience to God and fasting lead to fear of God, which is the beginning of true wisdom.
