A few reasons to love people

• Jesus taught us to love others. Love is even the main thing that was said will make people understand that we are Christians. People will understand that we are Christians because of the love that we have for each other (John 13:35).

• God is love.

• We can become like our father who loves everyone and still loves us, even though we betrayed Him. We can repent and come to be “according to the likeness of God”, which is our purpose as Christians.

• God taught us that we should love our neighbour as we love ourselves (Tiligadas, 2019).

• We should not love only people who love us. Hypocrites do that too. We need to do something more than them (Tiligadas, 2019).

• A person who loves is free (Tiligadas, 2019).

• In love there is freedom, equality, happiness, life and God (Tiligadas, 2019).

• All people (not only the people close to us) deserve love and God taught us that we should love all people.

• We love God through loving our neighbour. Whoever loves his neighbour and obeys God’s commands, loves God (Tiligadas, 2019).

• God made us different from each other, so that we need each other (Tiligadas, 2019).
