Lucy

This is more of a conversion to Christianity in general and not orthodoxy in particular, but I thought to mention it anyway. Lucy was a muslim girl. She believed and prayed to Allah. When she was a teenager, she got involved with a boy and one day she found out that she was pregnant. She decided to do an abortion because pregnancy was the last thing that she needed at this face of her life.

However, during her life, she started feeling lost. She didn’t know what to do anymore with religion. According to her beliefs, she would definitely not go to heaven and there was no way for her to be forgiven after doing an abortion.

One day, she heard about Jesus and this made her cry. She realised that she had found the love that she was looking for and the God that would forgive her for anything that she had done and would be willing to repent from. The God that would still want a relationship with her, regardless of what she had done in her life.
